The shapeshifting British rock group’s Archives will release through Fire Records on 2nd October.

Vanishing Twin have announced the release of a new album.
Archives is scheduled for arrival through longtime label Fire Records on 2nd October and will mark the shapeshifting British rock group’s fifth full-length studio project to date. Following on the successes of 2023’s Afternoon X, the trio of Cathy Lucas, Valentina Magaletti and Susumu Mukai forged their latest body of work through a series of long distance remote collaborations that were catalysed by singer and multi-instrumentalist Lucas’ relocation from London to rural France.
Two newly premiered singles entitled ‘Bring Me The Axe’ and ‘Archives’ lead the album’s announcement and showcase the group’s idiosyncrasies on spellbinding form as measured vocals deftly coalesce with dense rhythmic layers, droning strings and myriad synthesizer textures. Hear both songs and view the full track list for Archives below.
