Hood have announced plans for a digital and physical reissue of their fifth and penultimate album.
The cult Yorkshire post-rock group’s Cold House will re-release through Domino Recording Company on 13th November, marking the first time that the landmark full-length work has been made available on any physical format in over a decade. Plotted in alignment with the album’s twenty-fifth anniversary, the forthcoming release will include audiophile double vinyl and deluxe CD physical editions each accompanied by an A4 booklet compiling archival images and a new interview between the band and journalist Simon Reynolds. Digital purchases of the album will separately feature an additional three live recordings derived from a session undertaken for BBC Radio 3 in 2002, whilst purchases placed through London record store and independent imprint World Of Echo will also include a mixtape curated by the band limited to 100 copies.
