Andrew Savage has launched a new band named Iconic Fugues and shared the project’s debut single.
2025 Dream / 2025 Blues is out digitally today following on from a recent cassette tape physical release through French imprint Bizarre Obstruction Records and represents the first preview of the emerging band’s forthcoming debut album entitled Sister Uncertain. Savage, best known for his role co-leading the New York City rock band Parquet Courts began forging the basis for Iconic Fugues following a relocation to Marseille, France in early 2024 with collaborators featured amongst the project’s loose assemblage presently including Dylan Hadley (Cate le Bon, White Fence) and Santiago Aldunate (Hantayo).
