Songs of Protest and Hope marks the second single to be presented under a new collaborative guise that renews the long-running creative partnership of two veterans of the American rock underground who together first garnered veneration for co-leading the landmark Louisville math rock outfit June Of 44 through the 1990s. Out digitally today with a limited 7” vinyl release to follow, the newly debuted single artfully echoes sentiments of the duo’s rich shared and individual artistic DNA across two songs that set their distinctive angular dual guitar stylings to contemplative pacing and pastures.
