kWh will mark the revived Washington, D.C. post-hardcore group’s first collection of new music to release in almost three decades.

Regulator Watts have announced the release of a new EP.
kWh is scheduled for arrival through Solid Brass Records on 14th August and will mark the revived Washington, D.C. post-hardcore group’s first collection of new music to materialise in almost three decades. Having first signalled their return in late 2024, the trio’s forthcoming project comprises five songs that were produced by Kurt Ballou of Converge at Steve Albini’s famed Chicago, Illinois recording studio Electrical Audio and follows on from an expanded 2025 re-release of their inaugural Mercury EP.
An inspired return that retains the angular and commanding form of the band’s original tenure, hear lead single ‘It’s Gonna Happen’ and view the track list for kWh below.
