‘The Junglist’ was recorded during sessions for the defunct band’s Burn.

Sons Of Kemet have reissued their catalytic debut album Burn in light of the album’s tenth anniversary.
Released in 2013, Burn marked a formidable debut statement for the British jazz troupe following the promises set by a slew of fervent live performances and would later lead to the quartet being crowned ‘Best Jazz Act’ at the 2013 MOBO Awards. The album also marked the lone full-length release to feature original tuba player Oren Marshall, whose role was later filled by longstanding member Theon Cross.
The newly released edition features audio remastered by Native Rebel Recordings associate Guy Davy, the cover artwork originally intended for the album and a previously unreleased bonus track recorded during studio sessions for the album.
