recordings 2008-2009 will group the revived Norwich math rock band’s first six songs.

pennines have announced the release of a retrospective vinyl compilation.
recordings 2008-2009 is scheduled for arrival through Topshelf Records on 7th August and will group six songs representing the revived Norwich math rock quartet’s full discography to date. Physical editions of the forthcoming project will include cassette tape, CD and multiple vinyl options presented in black, teal, tan and blue in clear colour variants.
Formed in 2006, pennines’ original tenure lasted several years and saw the band become a fixture of the UK’s thriving emo and math rock scenes whilst sharing stages with a number of likeminded contemporaries including Blakfish, Colour and Tubelord. Singer-guitarist Henry Tremain would later be enlisted to the lineup of Oxford’s TTNG (formerly This Town Needs Guns) with whom he has contributed to the full-length albums 13.0.0.0.0 and Disappointment Island.
