The newly reprised collaboration’s Crusher is out now digitally with physical editions to follow.

Sooj have released their debut album.
A burgeoning collaboration between California slowcore luminaries Duster and collagic North Carolina producer Dirty Art Club, the partnership of Canaan Dove Amber, Clay Parton and Matt Cagle first came in to public view through the release of a 7” single in 2024 showcasing the finalised forms of two songs originally conceived then later surrendered to the cutting room floor during the creation of Duster’s fifth album In Dreams. Having ignited the spark of their creative collaboration once more with a newly penned alias in tow, Sooj’s inaugural full-length album Crusher is out digitally today through ever-venerable Chicago imprint Numero Group and comprises ten songs shrouded in the trance-inducing sedative glaze that is synonymous with Amber and Parton and has garnered their primary creative outlet widespread fandom across TikTok and beyond in recent years.
