Stops on the famed Scottish group’s tours will include Glasgow, Leeds, London, Vancouver, Portland, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, New York City and more.
The Beta Band have reunited with the announcement of plans to tour in late 2025.
Commencing in September the beloved and long-defunct Scottish group will first embark on a tour of the United Kingdom encompassing appearances in Glasgow, Leeds, London and more before travelling overseas for a tour of North American cities including Vancouver, Portland, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, New York City and many more. The Beta Band’s original run unfolded between 1996 and 2004 with their latest album Heroes to Zeros arriving in 2004.
Of their newly detailed reunion the band state,
“The Beta Band, as everyone knows, is an institution, like Bedlam, or the RSPCA, and as such has its own indelible stain on the bedsheet of Western culture. It was the great John Noakes who said “you have to shake it out at least once every couple of decades, if you want to know what the moths did”. So with both those facts in mind, we realise the time has come to show the wall the Luminol, kill the lights and hit the UV.”
