Manchester post-rock outfit Maruja have shared new single.
‘The Invisible Man’ marks the rising band’s first new music to release in 2024 and arrives in advance of a forthcoming Spring UK tour itinerary that will encompass performances in Bristol, Leeds, London, Manchester, Edinburgh and more. Building on the praises of their 2023 debut EP Knocknarea and surrounding singles, the quartet’s latest offering exercises a further refinement of the tense and caustic, horn-led rock formula that has previously served the likes of Sweep The Leg Johnny and Black Country, New Road so well.
Of their new single Maruja state,
“The Invisible Man is a story about mental health, with the lyrics shaped by personal experiences of dealing with loved ones struggling in the midst of the mental health epidemic.”
