You’ll Never Guess What Happened Next features footage from a stripped back tour that preceded the announcement of Space Heavy.
King Krule has released a new concert film entitled You’ll Never Guess What Happened Next.
Shot and directed by filmmaker Anna Pollack, the visual features footage of songwriter Archy Marshall’s concert at the Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett, New York, which unfolded during a stripped back international tour in March and April of this year.
The SHHHHH! tour saw Marshall road test material from his recent – and then unannounced – fourth album Space Heavy with the accompaniment of longstanding bandmates George Bass and Ignacio Salvadores on drums and saxophone respectively. The newly released visual includes live renditions of ‘Tortoise of Independency’, ‘Seaforth’, ‘Pink Shell’ and more.
