Feat. Toro Y Moi, Young Thug, Kaytranada & more.
Atlanta-based MC Rome Fortune has shared the third instalment in his Beautiful Pimp album series, following 2014’s Beautiful Pimp II. The new LP features appearances from Kaytranada, Young Thug, Lamontwrld, Sango, Wolfgang Gartner, 03 Greedo and Toro Y Moi.
Fortune previously featured on Toro Y Moi’s 2014 album Samantha, whilst their collaborative EP entitled Toro Y Rome Vol. 1 released in July 2018.
Discussing the distinction between Beautiful Pimp III and his previous albums, Fortune said the following in conversation with High Snobiety
“The main thing is that my awareness level is much higher. Production-wise, lyrically, and even just my approach is different. Beautiful Pimp I was me subconsciously documenting my environment. Beautiful Pimp II and my first album, Jerome Raheem Fortune, was the awakening of my self-awareness. This time around there’s a new awareness of my environment – which has broadened vastly from my world travels.”
