Death Cab For Cutie have announced plans to embark on a North American tour in 2026.
Commencing in late May, the beloved American indie rock luminaries will undertake a run of twenty-one concerts that encompasses appearances in Denver, Cleveland, Philadelphia, Toronto, Raleigh, Phoenix, Los Angeles, San Diego, Las Vegas and more with support from Japanese Breakfast, Jay Som and Nation Of Language. Tickets for all newly announced tour dates will be available for purchase from 30th January at 10am local time.
Coinciding with the announcement of their forthcoming tour it has also been revealed that Death Cab For Cutie have forged a newfound partnership independent imprint ANTI- Records, indicating that a follow-up release to 2022’s Asphalt Meadows may be imminent. The move succeeds a notable two-decade run with major label Atlantic Records that yielded six full-length albums beginning with the release of the 2005’s critically acclaimed Plans.
