Leeds music festival Quiet Steps announce inaugural edition featuring Braid, Faraquet, Tangled Hair

The burgeoning event helmed by linchpin West Yorkshire concert promoters Dirty Otter will take place on 18th July.

Leeds concert promoters Dirty Otter have announced plans to launch a new one-day music festival in 2026.

The inaugural edition of Quiet Steps Fest will take place on 18th July from Armley Road’s Project House with a lineup split across two stages that boasts Champaign emo veterans Braid, newly revived Washington post-hardcore luminaries Faraquet, British math rock fixtures Tangled Hair and pennines and burgeoning Delta Sleep and TTNG offshoot project Pancho as initial recruits. With further performers yet to be announced the festival’s programme draws upon twenty years of experience booking live concerts that has seen Dirty Otter play host to the likes of American Football, Blakfish, Brontide, City Of Caterpillar, Joan Of Arc, Marnie Stern, mewithoutYou, Pinback, Pneu, So Many Dynamos, Tera Melos, That Fucking Tank, Three Trapped Tigers and Tubelord since their inception in 2006. Tickets for Quiet Steps Fest 2026 will be available to purchase from 23rd January at 10am.
