The cult American singer-songwriter’s Later Than You Think arrives in September.
John Maus has announced the release of a new album.
Later Than You Think is scheduled for arrival on September 26th and will mark the cult American singer-songwriter’s sixth full-length album to date following onward from 2018’s Addendum. Also marking Maus’ first album to release through British imprint Young where he joins a roster in company of such labelmates as FKA Twigs, John Glacier and Kamasi Washington, the forthcoming project was written and recorded in the Ozarks of Southwest Missouri and is noted to explore themes of grief, justice, rebirth, transformation and spiritual warfare.
Surrounding the release of Later Than You Think Maus will embark on a tour of European and North American cities between June and December including stops in New York City, Los Angeles, Stockholm, Paris, Reykjavik, Chicago, Toronto, San Francisco, London, Manchester, Barcelona, Porto, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Dublin, Berlin and more.
