Stereolab announce first new album in fifteen years, share single

Instant Holograms On Metal Film arrives through longtime label Warp in May.

Stereolab have announced the release of a new album.

Instant Holograms On Metal Film is scheduled for arrival through Duophonic UHF Disks and longtime label Warp on May 23rd and will mark the beloved English-French band’s first full-length album to release in fifteen years following on from 2010’s Not Music. Preceded by lead single ‘Aerial Troubles’, the forthcoming album features contributions from Cooper Crain, Ric Elsworth, Rob Frye, Ben LaMar Gay, Marie Merlet, Molly Read and Holger Zapf.

News of Stereolab’s long-awaited studio return follows on from the announcement of lengthy international touring plans for 2025 that will see the band perform live in European, North American and South American cities across the year.
