Tortoise have shared a new single.
‘Oganesson’ is out digitally through International Anthem and Nonesuch Records now and marks the first new music to materialise from the seminal American post-rock group in almost a decade. The newly premiered single also represents the first preview of the band’s as-yet-unannounced eighth album and was recorded by founding member John McEntire between studio facilities in Chicago, Los Angeles and Portland.
Tortoise’s latest full-length studio album The Catastrophist released through longtime label Thrill Jockey in 2016.
