An album of new music from late American musician and producer Isaiah ‘Ikey’ Owens has been posthumously released.

Overseen by Unit E Records, the eponymously titled Ikey Owens marks the debut solo studio album to release under the given name of the prolific Long Beach, California keyboardist – best known and revered for his tenures as a member of De Facto, The Mars Volta and The White Stripes alumnus Jack White’s touring band – and arrives several days prior to what would have been his fiftieth birthday. Recorded across studio sessions in Austin, Nashville and Long Beach during the final years that preceded Owens’ untimely death in 2014, the newly premiered LP comprises seven songs and features among its personnel credits a guest appearance from a burgeoning Anderson .Paak under his former Breezy Lovejoy alias.
