The Chicago trio’s Wish Defense arrives in February.
FACS have announced the release of a new album.
The prolific Chicago trio’s Wish Defense is scheduled for arrival in February through ever-reliable hometown imprint Trouble In Mind Records, succeeding 2023’s Still Life In Decay and the subsequent live album Maggot Brain 020324 released in April of this year. The band’s sixth full-length studio effort marks a return to the fold for founding member Jonathan van Herik and was tracked over three days at venerable recording facility Electrical Audio in early May, notably commencing with what would materialise to be the final studio sessions helmed by the late Steve Albini of Big Black and Shellac fame.
