The trio’s If A Body Meet A Body releases in November.

David Grubbs, Wendy Eisenberg and Kramer have announced the release of their debut album as SQUANDERERS.
Originally conceived as a duo collaboration between guitarist Grubbs – whose wide-spanning credentials encompass tenures with the bands Squirrel Bait, Bastro, Bitch Magnet and Gastr del Sol in addition to multiple collaborations and solo albums – and venerated multi-instrumentalist-producer Kramer, the burgeoning moniker first surfaced to the public in 2023 through a solitary feature included on a Shimmy-Disc box set release entitled Rings Of Saturn. Subsequent to the recruitment of second guitarist Wendy Eisenberg, the trio’s newly detailed inaugural full-length album comprises a series of improvised and spontaneous collaborations that offer the first detailed insight in to an ensemble purportedly informed by an intent to change stylistic direction with each release.
