Don Caballero and El Ten Eleven members form new band Yesness, announce debut album

The duo of Damon Che and Kristian Dunn will release See You At The Solipsist Convention in November.

American musicians Damon Che and Kristian Dunn have formed a new band named Yesness and announced the release of their debut album.

Respectively known and revered for their contributions to the landscape of instrumental rock music as members of Don Caballero and El Ten Eleven, the basis for the newly established duo was first conceived in 2023 through an encounter devised by Joyful Noise Recordings label head Karl Hofstetter. Subsequently maintaining a lengthy virtual correspondence, the pairing of kindred spirits explored the possibilities of a creative partnership over an eight-month period before meeting in person to commence recording sessions for their debut album as Yesness held at Indianapolis studio facility Postal Recording. The band’s See You At The Solipsist Convention is scheduled for arrival in November and will be bolstered by a tour of Western US cities including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, Boise, Denver and more. Tickets for all forthcoming tour dates will be available to purchase from September 27th; find further information here.

Propelled by the restless yet tightly coiled rhythmic grounding synonymous with Che’s contributions to the influential and ever-fabled Don Caballero, hear album opener ‘Not So Sorry Now Are You?’ and view the band’s full 2025 US tour itinerary below.
