Masayoshi Fujita has released a new album.
Out now via Erased Tapes, Migratory marks the decorated Japanese percussionist’s fifth full-length solo album and first to surface since embarking on a relocation from Berlin to his native Japan in 2020. Informed by the scenic countryside pastures of his newfound home in Kami-cho, Hyōgo, Fujita’s latest solitary musical endeavour continues to forge furthermore in to the sonic realm encompassed within 2021’s Bird Ambience, deftly coalescing explorations of synthesis with a refined and wide-ranging mastery of the vibraphone and marimba.
