Devendra Banhart, Pharoah Sanders and Low’s Alan Sparhawk also feature among contributors to TRAИƧA.

Red Hot Organisation have announced the release of a new compilation project entitled TRAИƧA.
Due for release on November 22nd, the celebrated New York non-profit’s latest endeavour is billed as a spiritual journey celebrating trans and non-binary people and divided into eight chapters conceived to represent the stripes of the rainbow pride flag. Gathering contributions from over 100 artists across its substantial 46-song track list, among the many featured artists are Sade Adu, André 3000, Devendra Banhart, Kelela, Laraaji, Niecy Blues, Sonic Youth guitarist Lee Ranaldo, Pharoah Sanders, Alan Sparhawk and Jeff Tweedy.
Red Hot Organisation’s Dust Reid shares of the forthcoming project,
“We hoped to create a narrative that positions trans and non-binary people as leaders in our society insofaras the deep inner work they do to affirm who they are in our current climate. We felt this is something everybody should do. Whether you identify as trans or nonbinary or otherwise, if you took the time to explore your gender, get in touch with the feeling side of yourself, maybe we would have a future oriented around values of community, collaboration, care, and healing.”
Leading the compilation’s announcement hear UK singer Lauren Auder and Wendy & Lisa of The Revolution’s take on Prince‘s ‘I Would Die 4 U’ and view the track list for TRAИƧA below.
