David Pajo’s Aerial M Peel Session to receive physical release

Drag City will bring the 1998 recordings to vinyl in August.

Drag City have announced plans to bring a newly excavated 1990s radio performance from David Pajo to vinyl.

The lauded American songwriter and multi-instrumentalist’s incoming physical release reprises three live performances captured in 1998 for late BBC Radio 1 DJ John Peel’s infamous Peel Sessions with accompaniment from Tim Furnish, Cassie Berman and Tony Bailey. Included within the set of recordings are expanded full band interpretations of songs featured on projects released under the beloved Aerial M solo moniker that succeeded Pajo’s tenures with Slint, King Kong, The For Carnation and more.

Hear the session’s take on ‘Vivea’ in advance and view the track list for The Peel Sessions below.
