The Japanese math rock troupe’s Now I See the Light arrives through Topshelf Records.

Japanese math rock veterans toe have released a new album.
Resurfacing from a bout of hibernation, Now I See the Light marks the venerated Tokyo quartet’s fourth full-length studio album and first to materialise in almost a decade following onward from 2015’s Hear You. Returning on typically infectious and technically deft form whilst cited within press materials as striking a balance between the defining characteristics of their earlier and later periods, the band’s newly released effort is also notable in its reintroduction of vocals to a discography that has historically maintained a largely instrumental palette.
