The seminal noise rock outfit’s first album in over twenty-five years will arrive in September.

The Jesus Lizard have announced the release of a new album.
Rack is scheduled for arrival in September and will mark the seminal David Yow-led outfit’s first full-length album to release in over twenty-five years. Writing sessions for the project began in 2019 followed by studio sessions held at Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney’s Audio Eagle studio facility with engineering duties manned by Paul Allen.
Pioneers of the noise rock movement, The Jesus Lizard released six dynamic and influential full-length albums over the course of their original tenure concluding with 1998’s Andy Gill-produced Blue. After disbanding in 1999 the group have since reunited on a sporadic basis to resume touring activities. Bolstering the release of their looming seventh album The Jesus Lizard have also revealed plans to embark upon a tour encompassing performances in the United States, United Kingdom and Ireland that will commence in late 2024. Tickets for all tour dates will be available for purchase from June 7th at 10am. Find further information here.
