Ravyn Lenae announces sophomore album, shares new singles

Hear ‘Love Me Not’ and ‘Love Is Blind’ now.

Ravyn Lenae has announced the release of a new album.

Bird’s Eye is scheduled for arrival on August 9th and marks the praised Chicago singer-songwriter’s sophomore album, leading onward from the successes of the catalytic 2018 Steve Lacy-produced Crush EP and 2022’s critically acclaimed inaugural full-length outing Hypnos.

Lenae shares of her looming project’s themes

“Bird’s Eye signifies returning to a place of self-trust and unbending intuition while acknowledging the paths and turns I’ve taken to get here. Revisiting the most basic parts of my identity has allowed me to fully embrace them and be proud of where I’m going.”

Reaffirming an infectious and seldom-matched melodic nous voiced through timeless R&B stylings, hear lead singles ‘Love Me Not’ and ‘Love Is Blind’ in advance below.

Bird’s Eye releases on August 9th via Atlantic Records. Pre-order the album on vinyl here.
