Hear the revitalised post-hardcore outfit’s ‘In The Tall Grass’ now.

City Of Caterpillar have shared a new single.
The revitalised Richmond, Virginia post-hardcore outfit first emerged in 2000, enjoying a fleeting but influential existence that would spawn a single eponymously titled yardstick album in 2002 before their dissolution one year later. News of the band’s unexpected return in 2016 was met with widespread fanfare across the intersection of post-hardcore and post-rock, with a studio recording of fabled live rarity ‘Driving Spain Up A Wall’ and a long-awaited sophomore album entitled Mystic Sisters following in 2017 and 2022 respectively.
Marking the group’s first new music to surface in two years, ‘In The Tall Grass’ was commissioned by Decibel Magazine to feature as part of a series of 7” flexi vinyl releases available to subscribers of the publication.
Reemerging on typically cathartic and guttural form, stream ‘In The Tall Grass’ below.
