Homeshake announces second album of 2024

The beloved Canadian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist’s Horsie arrives in June.

Canadian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Peter Sagar has announced the release of a new album under his longstanding Homeshake solo moniker.

Horsie is penned for release on June 28th through Dine Alone Records and Sagar’s own SHHOAMKEE Records imprint, marking his seventh album overall and second to release this year following March’s CD Wallet. In succession of the affecting and glacially paced slowcore dalliances of its predecessor Horsie signals a return to the synth-laden and hypnagogic state of equilibrium for which Sagar is best known and often imitated though never bettered, its lead single ‘Nothing 2 See’ deftly coloured by sleepy vocal incantations and warbled Juno 60 textures.
