André 3000 has announced plans to embark on a US tour.
Commencing on January 29th and succeeding the November release of his long-awaited debut solo album, the OutKast alumnus will perform live in New York City, Detroit, Chicago, San Francisco, Atlanta and Los Angeles with accompaniment from his New Blue Sun collaborators Surya Botofasina, Nate Mercereau, Carlos Niño and Deantoni Parks. In advance of the newly announced tour the rapper-turned-flautist is also billed to appear as the featured musical guest in this evening’s episode of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, offering the first insight in to how his recent long-player will translate within a live setting.
