Adult Jazz return with new single, announce London concert

The revitalised outfit will perform at the Institute of Contemporary Arts on October 24th.

Adult Jazz have resurfaced with the release of a new single.

‘Dusk Song’ signals the beginning of a new creative chapter for the British experimental troupe, whose music first unfurled in to the public line of vision in the early 2010s as a fixture within the wide-ranging music scene of Leeds, West Yorkshire. In succession of their divergent and critically acclaimed 2014 debut album Gist Is the quartet presented a concise but similarly inventive follow-up Earrings Off! before retreating in to a lengthy period of dormancy. Pairing a seismic oscillating drone with the immersive vocal incantations of Harry Burgess, ‘Dusk Song’ marks the band’s first new music to release in eight years and aligns with the announcement of a forthcoming concert held at London’s storied and intimate ICA. Tickets for the group’s performance will be available to purchase from January 24th at 10am.
