Canadian post-rock outfit Godspeed You! Black Emperor have shared plans to embark upon a short run of North American tour dates in 2024.
Commencing in February, the lauded instrumental ensemble’s newly announced itinerary will comprise five dates in Queens, Arden, Homer, Oshawa and Kingston. Alan Sparhawk of Low infamy, Marina Herlop and Maria BC will provide support for the band’s concert held at Queens’ Knockdown Center.
Godspeed You! Black Emperor’s latest full-length album G_d’s Pee AT STATE’S END! released to widespread praise in 2021, whilst last year saw founding member Efrim Menuck release a new collaborative album with Broken Social Scene’s Ariel Engle under the moniker ALL HANDS_MAKE LIGHT.
