YHWH Is LOVE arrives on March 1st.
Madlib and Karriem Riggins have announced the revival of their celebrated collaborative project Jahari Massamba Unit.
The drummer-producer duo’s ongoing project first surfaced to the public in the mid 2000s through the release of several sporadic lone singles later followed by a 2020 full-length debut album entitled Pardon My French, pairing Riggins’ seasoned rhythms and Madlib’s textural experimentations with a wide-ranging gamut of melodic instruments. Today the hip-hop supergroup have shared that their follow-up sophomore album YHWH Is LOVE will release on March 1st through Riggins’ own newly established Law Of Rhythm imprint, preceded by the colourful lead single ‘Stomping Gamay’.
