London singer-songwriter Richie Seivwright has shared her inaugural single as a solo artist.

First rising to prominence as an integral and longstanding member of the widely celebrated jazz collective KOKOROKO, over the course of several years the multi-instrumentalist garnered major festival appearances at Glastonbury, We Out Here and Meltdown, internationals tours and multiple award wins among her artistic credentials.

Now forging a lone path Seivwright’s debut single ‘Springtime’ showcases a skilful predilection for warbled R&B stylings through the deployment of rich vocal harmonies, off-kilter rhythm and a considered use of space punctuated by heady effects. The single’s supporting cast further elevate proceedings with the musician drawing upon a swathe of notable peers including KOKOROKO guitarist Tobi Adenaike and Jorja Smith bassist Mutale Chashi.
