The performance will be held at London’s ICA on December 7th.
London-based composer, bandleader and multi-instrumentalist Shabaka Hutchings has announced plans to lead a live concert in homage to revered American jazz saxophonist Pharoah Sanders.
Scheduled to unfold from London’s intimate ICA on December 7th, the newly announced tribute concert will mark one of Hutchings’ final live performances on the saxophone before entering a pre-determined hiatus from the instrument, coupled with a previously announced group rendition of John Coltrane’s A Love Supreme set to take place in London the following day.
