BADBADNOTGOOD and Charlotte Day Wilson have reconvened for the release of a new collaborative single.

The Canadian pairing’s ‘Sleeper’ was first road tested this Summer during their appearances at London music festival All Points East before subsequently being tracked to tape at Los Angeles’ fabled Valentine Recording Studios. The songwriter and instrumental trio have worked together in a collaborative capacity on several occasions with Wilson first contributing vocals to the venerated jazz troupe’s landmark fourth album IV, later followed by a further collaboration on ‘I Can Only Whisper’ from Wilson’s 2021 debut solo album ALPHA.

Wilson states of the newly released song’s creation

“We were in the studio just messing around, and the guys came up with the colourful instrumental while I freestyled the lyrics. The song portrays someone who chooses the path of least resistance and finds themselves in a lifeless, loveless relationship.”
