The series of concerts will commence in November.
LCD Soundsystem have announced plans for a new series of concerts set to unfold from their home of New York City.
Commencing in November and comprising twelve dates, the critically acclaimed band’s Tri Boro Tour is slated to encompass four performances at Brooklyn’s Brooklyn Steel, four performances at Manhattan’s Terminal 5 and four performances at Queens’ Knockdown Center. The tour will mark the third consecutive year that LCD Soundsystem have completed performance residencies held in their home city, following on from runs of concerts completed by the band in 2021 and 2022. Tickets for the forthcoming tour will be available to purchase from 10am on Thursday 12th October, with a presale exclusively available to American Express Card Members beginning two days earlier at 10am on Tuesday 10th October.
LCD Soundsystem last released new music in 2022 when contributing ‘new body rhumba’ to the Netflix adaptation of Don DeLillo’s 1985 novel White Noise. The single later saw the band receive an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Song.
