Spell Blanket – Collected Demos 2006-2009 arrives in early 2024.
Broadcast’s James Cargill has announced the release of a new demos collection entitled Spell Blanket – Collected Demos 2006-2009.
Announced on what would have marked the 55th birthday of Cargill’s late bandmate Trish Keenan, the forthcoming collection is said to comprise songs and sketches from the singer and multi-instrumentalist’s archive that were intended for Broadcast’s unreleased fifth album. Though further details remain scarce at present, it has been confirmed that longtime label Warp will oversee the project’s release in early 2024.
