Crumb and Melody’s Echo Chamber have convened for the release of a new collaborative single entitled ‘Le Temple Volant’.
The pairing’s infectious international connection was teased through a number of social media posts in recent days and arrives with an accompanying visual shot between Australia, New Zealand and the USA. Sonically the single sits comfortably in the buoyant psychedelic domain that both projects are respectively known and praised for, awash with hypnagogic synth textures and languorous rhythm.
Crumb shared of their newly released collaboration,
“[Melody’s] music feels deeply nostalgic and so intertwined with that tender period of first starting the band. When she reached out to us during lockdown expressing her love for our music, it was a surreal and full circle moment. It feels right for this to be our first song with another musical artist… We came together for the first time to film part of the video, which was filmed on Roosevelt Island, with additional filming in New Zealand and Australia.”
