Mount Kimbie and Archy Marshall of King Krule fame have connected for the release of a new collaborative single.
‘Boxing’ is out digitally today as a Bandcamp-exclusive release and will be available for a limited time only, remaining online until September 21st. The British singer-songwriter and electronic duo have maintained a longstanding collaborative relationship beginning with Marshall’s appearances on ‘You Took Your Time’ and ‘Meter, Pale, Tone’ from Mount Kimbie’s 2013 sophomore album Cold Spring Fault Less Youth. Their latest offering strays from Mount Kimbie’s typical electronic framework in favour of deploying reverb-swathed guitars akin to the heady and languorous realms of shoegaze.
