Eyedress and Mac DeMarco have teamed for the release of a new single. ‘The Dark Prince’ arrives with an accompanying visual that sees the Los Angeles pairing play their guitars and wield swords on the grounds of a castle.
The newly released single follows Eyedress’ 2023 mixtape COMMITTING CRIMES and a recent remix of ‘House Of Cards’ helmed by Kevin Shields of My Bloody Valentine fame. Eyedress released his latest full-length album FULL TIME LOVER last year, which encompassed a slew of collaborations including songs with Homeshake, Chad Hugo, Nosaj Thing, Na-Kel Smith and Paul Cherry.
Meanwhile DeMarco released his instrumental album Five Easy Hot Dogs to widespread praise in January of this year, followed by an expansive collection of demo recordings entitled One Wayne G. This year also saw DeMarco make his long-awaited return to the live circuit, embarking upon a series of three-day residencies in New York, Paris and London.
