Hailu Mergia has announced plans to embark on a tour of the United Kingdom and Ireland.
The Ethiopian jazz veteran’s forthcoming schedule will commence in October, comprising performances in Sheffield, Ipswich, Margate, London, Leeds, Dublin, Cork, Belfast and Stroud.
Mergia’s latest full-length album Yene Mircha released through longtime label Awesome Tapes From Africa to widespread praise in 2020.
