Animal Collective announce new album, share single

Isn’t It Now? releases on September 29th.

Animal Collective have announced the release of a new album.

Isn’t It Now? marks the venerated Baltimore quartet’s twelfth full-length album and was recorded in collaboration with Grammy-winning producer Russell Elevado, famed for his studio work with the likes of Bilal, D’Angelo and Erykah Badu. Written during the same sessions as 2022’s critically acclaimed Time Skiffs, the forthcoming album was subsequently tracked at The Bunker in New York City and is noted to be the band’s longest project to date.

Set for release on September 29th, the album’s announcement is led by new single and opener ‘Soul Capturer’ which follows the previously shared 22-minute epic ‘Defeat’.
