Mulatu Astatke and London Brew feature among the festival’s new recruits.

EFG London Jazz Festival have announced a swathe of new names set to join the lineup for their looming 2023 edition.
The festival’s return will unfold between November 10th and 17th across a number of London music venues including the prestigious Barbican Centre and Southbank Centre, with previous wave lineup announcements confirming scheduled appearances from Charles Lloyd, Ron Carter, Sergio Mendes, The Necks, cktrl, Madison McFerrin, Makaya McCraven and Irreversible Entanglements.
Within the festival’s latest 2023 programme expansion new recruits include Ethio-jazz pioneer Mulatu Astatke, Bitches Brew-era Miles Davis tribute supergroup London Brew, Ezra Collective trumpeter Ife Ogunjobi and rising singer-songwriter and cellist Midori Jaeger among others.
