Fase Luna releases on May 5th.
English musician Sam Eastgate has announced the release of a new album as LA Priest.
Fase Luna is due for release on May 5th through Domino Recording Company and marks Eastgate’s third album under his praised solo moniker. The forthcoming album’s creation saw the Late Of The Pier alumnus uproot his creative base from Wales to the tropical climates of Mexico and Costa Rica, with a press release citing the resultant body of work to be inspired by ‘each area’s mythical history and ancient connections to the ocean, drawing heavily on both to pack Fase Luna with stories of spirits and imaginations of life on the ocean bed.’
Of leading single ‘It’s You’ Eastgate explains
“It’s about a guy who falls in love with a sea mermaid or water spirit and has to choose between life on the land or the ocean. Some of it sounds like he’s on the edge of madness.”
