American prog rock luminaries The Mars Volta have announced plans for a Summer tour of the United Kingdom.
Comprising three dates, today the band share that their newly expanded European tour itinerary will now encompass appearances at Glasgow’s Barrowland Ballroom, Manchester’s O2 Apollo and London’s Troxy this June. Teri Gender Bender will support the band on all dates of the UK tour.
The brief run of UK performances join previously announced Summer festival appearances at Primavera Sound, Primavera Porto and Best Kept Secret in addition to a number of dates supporting Red Hot Chili Peppers.
