un.procedure have shared their eponymous debut EP.
Born from a West Midlands-based music charity commission, the newly formed project sees prolific London and Paris-based composer and saxophonist Cassie Kinoshi of KOKOROKO, Nérija and SEED notoriety teaming with Birmingham instrumentalists Piera Onacko and Nathan England-Jones.
Capturing a multifaceted sound that has been refined over a series of live performances, the trio’s collaborative debut deftly straddles hypnotic kraut repetitions and sprawling electronic soundscapes, guided in its excursions by Kinoshi’s saxophone through seamless shifts between gentle reflections and earth-shattering waves of noise at the turn of a dime.
