Ghanaian singer-songwriter Florence Adooni has shared a new double single.
The rising talent swiftly broached a global line of vision in 2021 following the release of her debut single ‘Mam Pe’ela Su’ure’, the project’s intoxicating rhythmic movements and joyful sense of melody garnering fandom in the likes of London-based DJ and tastemaker Gilles Peterson.
New singles ‘Yinne’ and ‘Fo Yelle’ follow in similarly compelling fashion, the former propelled by jubilant horns and the latter a downtempo meditation coloured by rich vocal harmonies and Ebo Taylor-leaning guitar stylings.
