DOMi & JD Beck share infectious and long-awaited debut single

‘SMiLE’ arrives with an accompanying visual that features Mac DeMarco, Thundercat and Anderson .Paak.

After several years spent drumming up a palpable buzz through their presence in live and online spheres DOMi & JD Beck have announced a newfound partnership with APESHIT INC and illustrious jazz label Blue Note Records who will jointly release their long-awaited debut album.

Graduating from the breakneck Madvillain and John Coltrane renditions that cultivated an international reverence, ‘SMiLE’ marks the first preview of the virtuosic duo’s forthcoming full-length project, lifting the veil if only for a moment on the drunken, Dilla-leaning grooves and prodigious-yet-playful keyboard navigations that colour the pair’s warped and eccentric jazz world.

Hear ‘SMiLE’ and find an accompanying star-studded visual that sees DOMi and Beck appear as the protégés of an ageing and sequestered jazz musician named McBriare Lanyon, played by namesake and indie rock fixture Mac DeMarco below.
