SAULT unveil their sixth album

Stream and place pre-orders for physical variants of Air now.

Elusive British music collective SAULT have released a new album entitled Air. The group shared artwork and teaser images through social media channels yesterday shortly before unveiling the project’s seven tracks on a name your price basis.

Air marks the critically acclaimed group’s sixth album succeeding last year’s Nine which was available to download and purchase on physical formats for ninety-nine days before being wiped from the internet.

In the time between the two releases SAULT’s central component Dean Josiah Cover – known in musical circles as Inflo – was awarded the title of Producer Of The Year at the 2022 edition of the Brit Awards, whilst singer-songwriter Cleo Sol released her sophomore album Mother to broad praise and frequent collaborators Steve Pringle and Graham Godfrey launched the debut EP from their disco and no wave-infused group Pigeon.

Another stylistic left turn for the group that begins in a flurry of strings and clarion call horns before venturing in to realms of swooning orchestral and new age music, hear Air in full below.

Air is out now digitally via Forever Living Originals. Pre-order the album on physical formats here.
